Through inspiration, education, coaching, practical support, and legacy preservation, we come alongside women and families with encouragement, meaningful resources, and a helping hand when it's needed most.

Our vision is 10,000 solo women, over 50, who have faithfully arrived on the other side of transition, inspired, empowered, and who are curating their time, cultivating more joy, and savoring the sweetness of aging... unhindered.

We imagine a nation where older women are no longer defined or limited by what they have lost, what burdens they may be carrying, the color of their hair or texture of their skin, or by the scars no-one sees, but rather by the abundance of grace and fire in their heart ready to write the pages of their legacy story with incredible memories that stand the test of time.

Our
Mission
Our mission is to create spaces-physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually–where people (but especially solo maturing women) are inspired and equipped to intentionally curate their time, cultivate joy, and savor the sweetness of aging... unhindered.

We do this through practical concierge support, story-centered encouragement, meaningful teaching, legacy preservation, life-design coaching, and restorative experiences that help women move from uncertainty and pressure toward clarity, peace, purpose, and joy.
​When asked, "Why Solo Mature Women"? Before founding STS, we considered all the populations we could serve. We realized one demographic was grossly overlooked, underserved, ignored, and often tends to struggle in silence. Then we considered our individual and collective journeys, but didn't have to look too far before landing on the fact that each of us had devoted our lives to serving our elders, but always in the capacity of a volunteer. We saw a need and chose to fill it. Our shared truth is that our greatest joy has always been derived from doing something to ease the burdens of another.
Mature single women who do not require medical care and are mostly navigating life on their own are often caring for multiple generations of people. At the same time, they are approaching retirement age, are worn out, rarely ask for help, and are realizing they still have a trunk filled with untouched dreams. They are not usually void of family, but are generally void of real support. So when transition hits, they tend to look around and discover that they are alone, isolated, misunderstood, ignored, or worse, have become invisible. We want to be their safe space to not be okay–their support system to help them move from the valley to the summit! This is our why!

Jody Henry
Before anything else, Jody is a Christian! After this, he is a husband, father, son, brother, uncle, nephew, and cousin! These are his first loves!
Jody is the steady presence behind Sweet Tea Summits. Long before he says a word, people sense what makes him different: a calm confidence, a genuine smile, a lightness in the room, and the reassuring feeling that everything is going to be okay.

He has a gift for making life's biggest challenges feel manageable. Whether he's solving a complicated problem, lending a hand, or simply showing up when someone needs him most, Jody has a way of replacing stress with peace and uncertainty with confidence. His gift is finding creative ways to implement Laura's seemingly impossible solutions!

After a 36-year career built on serving others and solving problems in the automotive and energy industries, co-founding Sweet Tea Summits felt less like a career change and more like a calling. Guided by a heart of compassion and protection for the vulnerable, Jody uses his gifts, strengths, and talents to support our Sweet Tea Summits clients as they navigate life's transitions with practical wisdom, trustworthy hands, and a servant's heart.
Stated differently, Jody is the laughter, encourager, gentleness, muscle, protector, and all-around happy-to-help doer part of Sweet Tea Summits.

As a Certified Aging-in-Place Professional (CAPS), Jody believes that safety is about more than a need for grab bars and wider doorways. It's about helping vulnerable people feel secure, protected, safe, and confident that they can continue living life on their own terms.
His greatest joy is simple: making hard days lighter, impossible tasks possible, and reminding every person he serves that they never have to take the next step alone.
If Laura were a bird, Jody would be the strength beneath her wings! He shares that same strength with every client served by Sweet Tea Summits.

​Laura is the problem solver, crisis manager, and the visionary heart behind Sweet Tea Summits. She believes deeply that every person carries God-given gifts, strengths, talents, and purpose — even when life has made those things difficult to see. Once asked, "What are your gifts?" She thought for a time before replying, "You know, I'm excellent at solving impossible problems–resolving the messy bits. But that's because I had to survive my circumstances; I had to learn how to play whatever hand life dealt, with a smile on my face. But the thing I believe God has gifted me to do more than anything else is to see in people what they cannot see in themselves, help them discover whom they are meant to be, and then find creative ways to help them become who they most want to be."

But the professional title Laura takes the most pride in is that of "Legacy Stewardship Concierge". This humble title sums up all of who she is, how she moves through life, and what she is gifted to do.

Laura is a natural-born empath and leader, making her both tender and fierce. She works tirelessly to achieve her clients' goals, protect their voice, autonomy, peace, and joy. She is not easily discouraged by words like “impossible,” “too hard,” or “can’t be done.” Her work helps her clients reframe their circumstances, reclaim their voice, confidence, and courage, and write their "what's next" with authenticity, clarity, purpose, and joy.​
